Your book delivers to entertain from start to finish. Could you tell us a little about Dim Sum, Dead Some?

First, thanks for hosting me!

Dim Sum, Dead Some is the 2nd Josie Tucker mystery. In it, you'll find Josie in San Francisco. 

EM Kaplan  
Josie is up to her usual snarky fun, loving food despite her perpetually upset stomach. :)

The 1st book is called The Bride Wore Dead, so using "Dead" in the titles kind of became a thing to do. 

EM Kaplan 
Dim sum is Chinese brunch, which I love. Dumplings on tiny plates...And it's at the heart of this story.

Tell us about some of those cringe-worthy situations Josie gets herself into. Sounds like a mystery of fun. 

EM Kaplan 
She first goes to San Francisco to vet her BFF's new boyfriend--have you ever done that for a friend?

Sezoni Whitfield 
Yes, but I've never traveled to another city to do it. lol.

EM Kaplan 
I know! Josie's the type of person who would. + she gets the bonus of the culinary delights of that city. 

EM Kaplan 
The boyfriend happens to be Chinese. And when he takes them all to lunch with his parents...   

EM Kaplan 
...he tells them Josie is his girlfriend because they can't handle him seeing a non-Asian. Awkward.

That is awkward, and someone ends up dead? No spoiler alert here. haha! We'll buy the book to find out.

Yes. Odd situations including a dog door, burlesque dancers, and Star Wars bed sheets.

Sounds like a wild ride. Reviewers have your characters jumping off the page. Describe your writing style. 

EM Kaplan 
I love colorful, natural dialog with stereotype-busting characters who may be ridiculous but realistic.
